For when you’re still a character, but not so little, we welcome you to Geode.
Beauty surprises us when we crack open our exterior and reveal what’s inside. While we all have little characters within, Geode exists to cater to our tween, teen and adult populations through classes, events, private lessons and more!
The hope of Geode is to provide fun, community-building experiences for tweens, teens and adults through theater without the commitment of nightly rehearsals.
Been writing a script and you want to get people together to read it? Let’s do it! Pipe dreams of a show? Let’s make it happen. Could your work environment use some enrichment through an improv for communications workshop? We got you.

Geode strives to deepen social and emotional health for teens, tweens and adults in a safe, fun environment through the art of theater.
Geode used to be just for adults, but we’re opening our arms a little wider now.
Since its start in 2022, Little Characters has worked with students of all ages and abilities. At the time, we had mostly young kids, and parents who wanted to try it for themselves.
As we’ve grown, our little kids have turned into kids and our kids have turned into big kids, and big kids don’t always like being called little.
So, starting in Summer 2026, we are changing the face of Geode to include kids 11 and up! We will still have adult only programs, and we will still have 11-17 programs, but they will fall under the name Geode.
And, how cool will it be if in the future, we can mix these populations to put on family friendly shows represented by actors the ages of their characters? Join us as we dare to dream.

Whether they're new to improv or experienced performers, every class is full of laughter, surprises, and endless possibilities. ADULTS: Third Thursday Improv Night!
We officially have another Improv night on the books - more than one, in fact! Mark your calendars, guys, because First Friday Improv Nights is officially back - and now it’s on the THIRD THURSDAY!
The format is the same: come hang out, play as little or lot as you’d like, drink what you want (will check ID’s), snack on what you want, and explore improv through group and partner games.
The next one is Thursday, August 19 from 6:30-8:30pm at 1635 West Broad St.
Join us for laughter and community as we get silly and learn some improv games in a low-stakes environment! We ask that all attendees are 18+. This class is $25 a pop!
Scared about trying improv? Most of our activities are group focused, and we won’t ever ask you to do something you don’t feel comfortable with! Feel free to even sign up and just come hang out!
